Our friends across the street at the Teresa K Hilander Community Ice Rink are on their 2nd year of doing Free Ice Skate rentals with us.
New this year are free ski & snowshoe rentals from Bay Shore Outdoor in Sister Bay and free ski, snowshoe & tube rentals from Nor Door Sport & Cyclery in Fish Creek.

This year the Jacksonport Polar Bear Club will be holding its 25th annual New Year’s Day Plunge into the chilly waters of Lake Michigan at Noon sharp. So bring the family or dare your friends to join, be sure to bring lots of towels, blankets, warm clothes & a camera to prove you were part of the tradition!
A Pancake Breakfast will again be part of the New Year Festivities. The Fire Departments of Door County will be working together to provide an “all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast” for the public at the Jacksonport Town Hall.
Pancakes will be cooked and served by the “Great Pancake Show” from 8:30am to 11:30am. They have done numerous pancake breakfasts in Door County and are a big hit with their pancake antics. Profits will benefit all participating Fire Departments.
With Snow Storm Aiden finally slowing down, we’ve plowed & shoveled ourselves out of about a foot or more of snow.
Even with all of this snow, our Snowmobile & Ski trails aren’t quite open just yet. However, for all of those great guests of ours that are avid Snowmobilers or Skiers, here is a fantastic website that will give you up to date listings on trail conditions.
