Fill your evenings with carefree recreation and entertainment, or visit the many theaters and live performances at the Door Community Auditorium, Birch Creek concerts, and Peninsula Players (Americas oldest professional summer theater) and the American Folklore Theater.
 
Sister Bay - Named by Increase Clafin for the adjacent Sister Islands, Sister Bay is a literal must for those who enjoy specialty shops, handmade clothing, crafts, recreation and superb dining. In fact, historic Sister Bay has something for everyone - during every season! A quaint harbor village with a new marina, Sister Bay is also home to all your favorite water activities. Stroll along the boardwalk, take in a rosy sunset and feel at home in our enchanting village.

Spring
 
Spring at Pheasant Park means nature bursting out all over! The county is filled with blooming tulips, daffodils, and Cherry & apple trees. The parks and nature preserve comes alive with wildflowers and bird song. The many miles of hiking trails offer the patient observer glimpses of Door County wildlife and the active vacationer plenty of room to run, bike and enjoy the fresh spring air. Door county also enjoys the Festival of Blossoms; events include the Door County Lighthouses Tour, Blossom Ball, the Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament, and more.
 
   

   
Summer
 
Summer means fun in the sun and an abundance of water activities. For swimmers there is the indoor and outdoor pools or the nearby beach, while Lake Michigan and the bay of Green Bay provide great fishing, sailing, kayaking/canoeing, water skiing, windsurfing and sandy beaches. Three blocks from Sister Bay's multi-million dollar marina, shops and restaurants, various boat rentals and fishing charters are available through local guides.
 

Fall
 
Fall is filled with breathtaking color and a rich bounty of Door County festivals to celebrate the harvest season. Sister Bay has its annual Fall Festival, which includes a parade, arts and crafts, ping pong ball drop and much more. A great time to get in the last bike ride of the year and enjoy the warm sunsets before the white of winter descends, or take an afternoon to shop the many end of season sales throughout the county.
 
   

   
Winter
 
Pheasant Park becomes a wonderful winter getaway with cross-county skiing trails through the parks and nature preserves, snowmobiling and ice skating. The relaxed atmosphere that Door County is famous for is even more apparent this time of year. There are approximately 250 miles of groomed snowmobile trails which guides you through gorgeous Door County. For added convenience, snowmobilers can get on the trail right here at Pheasant Park. The ice skating rink is also located right next door. Afterwards, warm-up with friends and family by the fireplace or relax in the soothing sauna or whirlpool. Guests find this time of year great for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
